Hydrite's current policy on Waste Minimization & Pollution Prevention has been in place for over 20 years. As a company, we continuously strive to eliminate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions through energy consumption or process operations, when possible and use a wide variety of pollution control devices to reduce volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) to limit impact on the climate and the environment. Data is monitored and used to identify key initiatives to reduce GHG emissions and energy consumption throughout our manufacturing and distribution operations and create efficiencies.

澳门新葡京赌场is proud to be located within electricity grids that prioritize cleaner energy. We also regularly evaluate energy generation technologies at our facilities.

In 2022, 澳门新葡京赌场completed the installation of the company's first on-site solar array at its Visalia, CA facility. The 126 kW solar photovoltaic system will provide roughly 16% of the location's annual electricity consumption, offsetting nearly 50 tons of CO2e emissions annually.

TRANSPORTATION

Safe and efficient distribution of chemicals has been a main focus at 澳门新葡京赌场over the past 90 years. From our raw material procurement to customer shipments, we strive for the most cost-effective means of moving material with collaboration from our customer and suppliers.

On the procurement side, we utilize barge, rail and bulk transportation whenever possible. This reduces unnecessary packaging materials and provides the most energy efficient deliveries to our manufacturing plants.

Our private fleet has the most recent fuel-efficient power units with many aerodynamic features built into the tractors and trailers. The fuel efficiency of all units is monitored, and procedures are established to maintain that efficiency. A computer-based routing system helps determine the most efficient load and routes when delivering directly to our customers.

In addition, many of our products help customers in the energy sector reach efficiency using our chemicals in processes such as gas scrubbing, gas-oil separation, drilling mud, and BTX extraction. Lastly, 澳门新葡京赌场has many manufacturing capabilities that we can utilize for our customers to produce and deliver their chemistry more efficiently.
